Winnipeg, Manitoba — 2026-08-02

At least three parks in south Winnipeg's Prairie Pointe and Bridgwater neighbourhoods were spray-painted overnight with graffiti containing homophobic slurs, violent language and anti-India messages such as 'F--k India'. Residents said similar hateful graffiti appeared in the same park last year; Winnipeg police said they are investigating and city crews were asked to remove the graffiti.
